When Does An “Inning” End?

Some questions have been asked lately as to when communication should end between the shooter (“2*”s excluded) and his teammates. A shooter is allowed to converse with his teammates when it is not his “turn” at the table. It is considered his turn at the table once all of the balls have stopped moving on the pool table in conjunction with his opponent missing their called shot, playing a safety, or fouling (and the game not being over). Obviously, when a game is finished and the balls are being racked for the next game, the shooters can talk to their teammates. Teammates should not be offering advice or discussing strategy with the shooter once it is apparent that the inning has ended for the opponent. Please adhere to this rule and be considerate of your opponent. Thanks for your understanding.
