Helpful Tip

You may have heard the expression before….”practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect”. Since the home and away team both get a limited amount of practice time (30 minutes per team) on the table before the match, it’s important to use that time wisely. If 2 players get into a long safety battle game against each other while the other 6 players on the team are getting their practice time cut short, that’s not a wise use of the alotted practice time. While safes are an integral part of the game, the alotted practice time before the match isn’t the proper time to be taking long periods between shots and getting into a safety battle with your opponent. Make the most of the small block of time alotted for your practice and be aware that other players on the team should get the chance to get some practice strokes in also.
